Gel Ink refills information.....
Distinguishing a "gel" refill from a "ballpoint refill" is the fact that the "gel" has pigments that are suspend within a water-based gel. Many love to write with a gel due to their bold colors and solid lines. The ink comes out noticeably thicker than a standard rollerball ink refill even though it uses the same basic rollerball mechanism to dispense ink. You will probably find that you can go through a "gel" refill quickly!
