With the Natural Phenomenon series, Pelikan is honoring
fascinating natural spectacles from around the world. Following the successful introduction of the Niagara Falls edition, the series now focuses on another natural wonder, the Sahara Desert. The Sahara Desert is the largest non-polar desert in the world, spanning 3000 miles across northern Africa! The Sahara writing instruments are crafted of the finest materials. The focal point is the metal shaft with its sand-wave structure. The overlay elements are modeled by a sophisticated guilloche, then gilded and finished with several coats of lacquer. The creative design flows, like waves of sand, into the sand-colored resin components of the grip section and lower end. The piston-fill fountain pen’s 18 carat gold nib, with rhodium trim, is formed by Pelikan®’s master nibmakers, and is available in M, F and B.
A capped rollerball and twist-action ball are also in this series.
