Platinum�: Briar Exotic Woods Fountain Pen Series
Distinctive briar wood is used in this beautiful series by Platinum®. Briarwood is a deciduous tree of heath family [Arca Earboria] originating on the Mediterranean coast. It is very hard and very heat-resistant and is also used in making pipes. A burl of 25 to 100 years old tree is used for fountain pen manufacturing. Its beautiful grain only becomes more lustrous with usage.
